Associate Fellows Group Activities

AFG Scientific Program

• Be there to present or to support your peers during the Annual Scientific Meeting of the AsMA in May when the Associate Fellows Group sponsors a panel of presentations by Associate Fellows.

• Make time in your personal schedule during the week long meeting to serve as a chair for one of the many scientific program sessions and poster sessions.

AFG Annual Ellingson Award Selection

• Selection process begins in December after the publication of the Aviation, Space, and Environmental Medicine annual journal index.

AFG Annual Breakfast

• Mark your calendar and be sure to purchase your ticket when you register for the conference.

• All Associate Fellows and guests are welcome to attend this event.  This is our official meeting to conduct a little business, but it is also our opportunity to convene and formally celebrate the accomplishments of our group, present the Ellingson Award, announce our election results and turn over the gavel to our new officers as we thank our departing officers.

• Tuesday morning of the conference week.  Detailed information will be posted on the Annual Meeting page.

Annual Associate Fellows & Fellows Reception

• All are invited: AsMA Fellows, Associate Fellows and “soon to be” Associate Fellows. The reception has an emphasis on recruitment, networking, sharing information on the benefits of membership and leadership in AsMA, expansion of AFG participation in AsMA activities, and to get to know the AsMA Fellows.
